Residual Solvents
and Processing Chemicals

Residual solvents are organic volatile chemicals that are used or produced in the manufacturing of products. Residual solvents analysis is required for manufactured cannabis products and pre-rolls. THC Analytical Lab identifies and quantifies the 20 analytes required by the state with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Samples that are tested for residual solvents and processing chemicals are deemed to have passed if they do not exceed the following limits:
