Pesticides Testing

Pesticides are chemical compounds that can be used for a variety of biological control.

It has become widely accepted that these must be regulated to protect consumers.

Pesticides are effective however, if pesticide residue in consumer products are above certain limits, they have been proven to be dangerous to human health.

The state has identified action limits for each of 66 different pesticides, all of which we test for here at The Higher Commitment Analytical Lab. Allowable limits will differ between products for example, the acceptable limit of a pesticide within an inhalable product will not be the same as the limit within a topical product.

THC Analytical Lab utilizes liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for analysis of pesticides. We aim to maintain a professional standard while ensuring the quick turnaround of results. A sample is deemed to have passed residual pesticide testing if there is no detection of category I residual pesticides and does not exceed the action limit for category II residual pesticides.
